Privacy policy
This privacy policy describes how Liveform (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit liveform.ai and related pages, request early access, or use marketing features such as embedded product previews. It is intended to meet common expectations under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR for transparency. It is not legal advice; obtain professional advice for your situation.
Who we are
Liveform is operated in connection with Craftform. For data protection purposes, the controller of personal data described in this policy is the entity operating the website at the contact details below. If you need the legal name of the controller for your records, ask us using the contact email.
Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Early access requests: When you submit the “Request early access” form, we collect the fields you provide (for example name and work email address) and any message content included in the submission.
- Communications: If you email us, we process your address and message content.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and usage data: Such as browser type, device type, approximate region derived from IP address, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This helps us run and secure the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We may use cookies or local storage where needed for basic site operation or preferences. Analytics or non-essential cookies are used only where permitted by law and your choices.
Information from third parties
- Form processing: Form submissions may be transmitted through our form provider (for example FormSubmit or a successor) to our inbox. That provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Fonts and infrastructure: Fonts may be loaded from Google Fonts; Google may receive technical data typical of web font requests.
- Embedded applications: Pages may embed our product demo in an
iframe. Interacting with the embedded app may cause separate processing by that application under its own notices.
How we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- Respond to early access and contact requests, and operate waitlists or onboarding communications you have asked for.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website and embedded demos.
- Understand aggregate usage of the site (for example which sections are viewed) where we use analytics in line with applicable law.
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and integrity.
We apply data minimisation: we do not collect more than we reasonably need for these purposes.
Legal bases (UK and EEA)
Where UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of:
- Legitimate interests in running a secure website, understanding aggregate use, and responding to enquiries, where not overridden by your rights.
- Contract or steps prior to a contract, where processing is needed to progress a commercial relationship you request.
- Consent, where required (for example certain cookies or marketing where we ask for it).
- Legal obligation, where the law requires processing.
Sharing personal data
We may share personal data with:
- Service providers who host the site, deliver email, process forms, or provide security and analytics, under appropriate contracts and safeguards.
- Professional advisers where required (for example lawyers or accountants).
- Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal data in the conventional sense of selling lists to data brokers.
International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or our providers operate. Where we transfer personal data from the UK or EEA to countries not subject to an adequacy decision, we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to resolve disputes and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Early access data is typically kept for the life of the relevant programme or until you ask us to delete it, subject to overriding legal holds.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to data portability. You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise rights, contact us at the email below. You may complain to a supervisory authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and similar technologies
When you visit liveform.ai, we may store small text files (“cookies”) or use similar storage (such as local storage) in your browser. We group these as follows:
Strictly necessary
These are required for basic operation or to remember choices that have a legal effect (for example, your cookie consent preference). They are set based on our legitimate interests or your request. Where the law requires consent for a specific technology, we only use it after you agree.
Analytics (optional)
Our pages include the Google tag (gtag.js) in the site header, configured with Google Consent Mode so that analytics storage starts as denied until you choose Accept or Reject on the cookie banner (or have previously stored your choice in this browser). If you click Accept, we update consent so Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC, depending on region) can use cookies or similar storage for measurement: for example pages viewed, approximate location (derived from IP, then often reduced), browser and device type, and referring site. This helps us improve content and performance. Google’s role and your choices are described in Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use their services.
If you click Reject, consent stays on denied for analytics (unless you later change your choice via Cookie settings in the footer, where available).
Other third parties
Fonts may still be requested from Google Fonts; embedded demos may set their own cookies or storage. Form providers and hosting infrastructure may process technical data as described elsewhere in this policy.
Managing your choices
Use our cookie banner when it appears, or Cookie settings in the site footer on marketing pages, to change your preference. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking all cookies may affect how the site works.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and adjust the effective date. Material changes may be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
